Think About It
Thoughts
I over think,I convince myself I'm undone
I pull it together and portray a happy one
I wonder what if I had only done more
Would it have changed the score
If it rains will I drown
Or will the steady drops wash away a frown
What if I had gone left instead of right
Over thinking all this through the night
So many bridges I have burned
So many lessons I never learned
I should have, could have, would have if I tried
Now there's the excuse for thinking to much
All those excuses and reasons and such
Indecisive I maybe but it's because I'm unsure and don't want to lose
Inside my head these thoughts are impossible to chose
My mind wanders and goes where it will
So I lay quietly and pray for those thoughts to be still
I pull it together and portray a happy one
I wonder what if I had only done more
Would it have changed the score
If it rains will I drown
Or will the steady drops wash away a frown
What if I had gone left instead of right
Over thinking all this through the night
So many bridges I have burned
So many lessons I never learned
I should have, could have, would have if I tried
Now there's the excuse for thinking to much
All those excuses and reasons and such
Indecisive I maybe but it's because I'm unsure and don't want to lose
Inside my head these thoughts are impossible to chose
My mind wanders and goes where it will
So I lay quietly and pray for those thoughts to be still
