Poetic-Verses

'' It's Yourself You're Denying ''

We deny the lie,
The lie we deny,
The facts we'll buy,
If it means not to cry.

The stress to confess,
I confess causes stress,
If life is duress,
Mine is a mess.

The truth is uncouth,
Uncouth is the truth,
To lie in the booth,
You must be a sleuth.

The facts we alter,
Let's alter the facts,
But you mustn't falter,
It'll show through the cracks.

Our need to change,
To change we've a need,
Though it may well derange,
It does plant the seed.

To refuse to admit,
To admit you refuse,
You will suffer the hit,
It's yourself you abuse.

Who is it you fool,
The fool is who?
Lying is a tool,
Which will come back on you.

That contortion you conceive,
Will conceive a contortion,
Which will you believe,
As they're both a distortion.

Lying is a con,
The con is you're lying,
When untruths you spawn,
