Lost and Found
One day while wondering aimlessly through my mind.
I accidently found what I could not find.
Behind my confidence and way in the back,
All mixed up with all that I lack.
My innocence was there and my pride was too.
I lost them long ago when they were still new.
All of this time I thought they were stolen from me
But they were just hidden where no one could see.
I guess they really can't be taken away
Although they are hidden, insides where they'll stay.
I remember them so well from when I was young.
And when I lost them how my heart stung.
I might have found them sooner then this,
But I was so busy with all I would miss.
Now that I have them what will I do?
I'll cherish my pride and my innocence too.
