I'd Rather
I'd rather sleep alone,
Or fall in the abyss.
I'd rather travel the unknown,
Then to witness this.
I'd rather sit and cry,
Alone in my room.
I'd rather be a spy,
Being stalked by doom.
I'd rather run a million miles,
Then watch you with her.
I'd rather miss a million smiles,
Then listen to her purr.
I'd rather fall from the highest hight,
Then see the two of you.
I'd rather pick a fight,
Then what you put me through.
I'd rather be hit by a train,
Then listen to her laughter.
I'd rather be in pain,
Then witness this disaster.
I'd rather fly far away,
Then be here right now.
I'd rather watch myself decay,
Then to watch you prowl.
I'd rather die in a painful way,
Then to see you and her.
I'd rather catch the plague,
And never find a cure...
