Walking into the Wilderness of Tomorrow

Walking in wilderness of tomorrow
watching clouds floating by, each
breeze that kisses softly, a angels
kiss of peace.

Thoughts drift back when streams
were filled with fish, freshness
calmed the restless soul, only in days
of yesterday, were lessons taught.

Now walking among the streams
they still have magic, no fish like years
ago can be seen, jumping out of the
water like young children playing.

Birds sing there songs sweet at dawn,
yet! something has disappeared
along the way, paths have been traveled
down many times, trees hang there
heads with pollution running free
without notice.

World disorder controls nation after
nation, where discomfort plays it's role
with uneasy glances and unfair treatment
and lawlessness among people in
these times of uncertainty.

Where there was rescue, it has disappeared,
no animals dare show there face among
the reckless guns of man, for greed now
show face where once all were safe, now
the gun is more then a weapon it kills without
thought.

Civilization has turned around becoming
cave men again, taking what they want
when ever they want, ownership
and identities are stolen in malice
one is no longer safe to walk the street
of crime and violence.

Where are the people now? are they
living only in ways of technology, if
so! it's to late to walk the forest green
it's on it way to destruction and rain
will not save a dying tree.
