A LITTLE OF ME
My heart, my actual soulmate
My husband works hard, long hours away from us all and does amazing things. When he has an accomplishment, I struggle with thinking of something to say other than "I'm proud of you" i think that sounds patronizing, fake, and parental.. I genuinely am excited for what he has done and I can't think of anything to say other than "proud" and I dont like that. I am beyond proud of his accomplishments.. I wish I had his strength and courage 2 do what he does... FIFO life is not all about the dollars.. it's so much more.. and if you don't understand and appreciate that.. then FIFO is not for you.
I support my husband and deal with the home life yet I couldn't do any of it without his support.. when he calls and i don't have time coz I'm here dealing with home life or i call and he is dealing with work, this is reality.. missing birthdays, Christmas and other events.. being apart for periods of time.. each of us living apart and still loving each other.. supporting and trying 2b there.. my husband is more than husband.. he is my everything...
