WHAT I CAN PROMISE






WHAT I CAN PROMISE



I won`t ever make you a promise
That I definitely cannot keep
But I can tell you that without you
My heart would forever weep.



I can promise to always love you
No matter what lies ahead
For without you in my life I know
That I would rather be dead.



I promise to give my heart only to you
It is yours and yours alone
Filled to the brim with all my love
And this I give to you to own.



I promise to tell you that I love you
Every single day without fail
You will know exactly how I feel for
The way I say it will tell the tale.



So whatever promise I make to you
Will be one that I can keep
So never doubt what I say to you
As my love for you runs deep.
