It only takes a very light breeze
To make the leaves fall from the trees
Like confetti they float to the ground
Where they land without making a sound.
Soon the tree branches will all be bare
But all in good time they will repair
For shoots will form and slowly they`ll grow
New leaves on the trees they will bestow.
Thus the time will come for us to fall
To each and every one of us it will befall
But we won`t be replaced as time goes on
We will just die and forever be gone.
We will leave a hole in someone`s heart
A terrible pain when we have to depart
They`ll have memories of us to keep
Which will comfort them when they weep.
The leaves will fall like they always do
And we will fall when our time is due.
