Be on Guard
There are many parents to their children that indeed
That in most cases, not to be a follower but to lead
So in any situation this thought they should keep
And not to be like cult, and follow like a sheep
Some try to cultivate in them the reason to have an opened mind
Being able to think, be alert to assess at most in times
Be not be stirred by gossip, but keep such information just there
Because there may be a little truth lurking somewhere
Let them know about those forces the would encounter
Such as drugs, deviant behaviour, those negative impactors
Listen to the friend, those word, and that body language
Because somewhere there may be that subtle message
Now we can see those challenges are rapidly increasing
And lots of external influences are making it so demanding
But remember that there is someone that individual
And will have some traits that a very unusual
We must accept that children in development must have friends
And they should devise a method how to deal with them
And when a situation arises be that forthright
Even if this may break a bond that was tight
My belief that if one is a very good buddy
That person should be able to be with you very truthfully
Not that one who would swell your head with such flattery
But will not hesitate to talk in a manner quite plainly
