A False Sense of Family Love
When you think of true family love, don't you get a warm
fuzzy feeling inside. Warm, natural affection and loving emotions,
that family members just can't hide.
Not limited to just your spouse and kids but your mother, father, sisters,
brothers even your extended family;
that kind of love permeated through the generations,
is how true family love use to be.
Now a day you wonder,
just what you have to do;
to tap into what should be natural,
just to find those affections are so untrue.
We live in a society today that nothing in life is free.
The things you thought was done out of love; actually expect something
in return, a barter of some kind or fee.
Then there is that family love,
that refuse genuine acts of love and kindness, it's true.
It's not that they don't want that act of love; They don't want to be
obligated to show any needed acts of love to you.
If there is nothing to be gotten
you're pretty much on your own.
Foolish or honest mistakes,
seems impossible to rectify
with one, whose heart is like stone.
There is no saying I'm sorry;
though most times there is nothing more you can say or do;
but hope and pray that family love
is strong enough,
to carry everyone through.
Genuine family love is an attribute
throughout entire family trees.
How sad to realize family love
has changed to the greatest, negative, and unnatural degree.
My love is the very essence of love
because I know I sincerely care.
My love is genuine
standing alone with no other love there.
How happy I can be
not needing a motive to love.
Never will I need family pseudo love
to love you, my love is motivated by God above.
God's love above is unrelatable to most.
For their love is unsatisfying, short lived, nor memorable, you see
For they know not what Godly love consist of nor look like
As to knowing how to show genuine love as it should be.
I love regardless of how anyone feel about me.
I love regardless of what anyone do.
I don't need a true or false sense
of family love for me to keep loving you.
