Welcome! TO POETRY IN MOTION This web site will also include a selection of poetry devoted to children. I have directed my attention in creating a collection of poetry that was designed in teaching early basic learning skills. I must let you know a brief history behind this poetry. This poetry was created for a company not located in the state of Maryland in which I live. This company had developed a potty training system for children and in the program the purchase product would contain a specially designed potty stool and a number of treats and incentives. One of the incentives was poetry and stories that would center around the potty stool character mascot. His name is Peewee Potamus. I must state that PeeWee is not a product of my creation but of the company owner who created PeeWee. However, I would like to share some of these story like poems with you and you may find that they may be useful in teaching your very young children some of the first basic things, most parents try to teach their children prior to attending school, such as their ABC's or counting from 1 to 10, shapes, colors and much more. I hope you enjoy this selection of poetry as most have enjoyed the poetry I have already posted Thank you again for visiting POETRY IN MOTION and your comments are very much welcome and taken to heart to help me to improve in areas that I may be weak in. From time to time I may send a response to your comment depending on the comment for clarity, but know that my responses are by no means a rebuttal of sarcasm or negativity because of not being able to accept constructive criticism.
