Have You Heard The Good News
The Lord is my light and my Salvation, and I Cannot Be Lost

The only unforgivable sin is not to receive the forgiveness of sins
paid for by the death blood ressurection of Jesus Christ
Believe in the Lord and you shall be saved Acts 16 31
Our promise about the Final Day
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command,
with the voice archangel and the dead in Christ will rise first!
After that we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together
with them and meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord

Closer than a touch on your skin
Deeper than a breath you draw in
Stronger than a hurricane wind
Is the dwelling of God within
The Train of Life
Some folks ride the train of life
Looking out the rear
Watching miles of life roll by
And marking every year
They sit in sad remembrance
Of wasted days gone by
And curse their life for what it was
And hang their head and cry
But I do not concern myself with that
I took a different vent
I look forward to what life holds
And not what has been spent
So strap me to the engine
As securely as I can be
I want to be out on the front
To see what I can see
I want to feel the winds of change
Blowing in my face
I want to see what life unfolds
As I move from place to place
I want to see what is coming up
Not looking at the past
is too short for yesterdays
It moves along too fast
So if the ride gets bumpy
While you are looking back
Go up front, and you may find
Your life has jumped the track
It is all right to remember
That is part of history
But up front is where
it is happening
There is so much mystery
The enjoyment of living
Is not where we have been
It is looking ever forward
To another year and ten
It is searching all the byways
Never should you refrain
For if you want to live your life
You gotta drive the train
I believe-
that we do not have to change friends
if we understand that friends change.
I believe-
that no matter how good a friend is,
they are going to hurt you every
once in a while and you must forgive
them for that.
I believe-
that true friendship continues to grow,
even over the longest distance.
Same goes for true love.
I believe-
that you can do something in an instant
that will give you heartache for life.
I believe-
that it is taking me a long time
to become the person I want to be.
I believe-
that you should always leave loved ones
with loving words. It may be the last
time you see them.
I believe-
that you can keep going
long after you can not.
I believe-
that we are responsible for what we do,
no matter how we feel.
I believe-
that either you control your attitude
or it controls you.
I believe-
that regardless of how hot and
steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades and there had
better be something else to take
its place.
I believe-
that heroes are the people
who do what has to be done
when it needs to be done,
regardless of the consequences.
I believe-
that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe-
that my best friend and I can do anything
or nothing and have the best time.
I believe-
that sometimes the people you expect
to kick you when you are down,
will be the ones to help you get back up.
I believe-
that sometimes when I am angry
I have the right to be angry,
but that does not give me
the right to be cruel.
I believe-
that just because someone does not love
you the way you want them to does not
mean they do not with all they have.
I believe-
that maturity has more to do with
what types of experiences you have had
and what you have learned from them
and less to do with how many
birthdays you have celebrated.
I believe-
that it is not always enough to be
forgiven by others. Sometimes you
have to learn to forgive yourself.
I believe-
That no matter how bad your heart is broken
the world does not stop for your grief.
I believe-
that our background and circumstances
may have influenced who we are,
but we are responsible for who we become.
I believe-
that just because two people argue,
it does not love each other
And just because they do not argue,
it does not mean they do.
I believe-
That you should not be so eager to find out a secret.
It could change your life forever.
I believe-
that two people can look at the exact
same thing and see something totally
different.
I believe-
That your life can be changed in a matter of hours
by people who do not even know you.
I believe-
That even when you think
you have no more to give, when
a friend cries out to you,
you will find the strength to help.
I believe-
that credentials on the wall
do not make you a decent human being.
I believe-
that the people you care about most in life
are taken from you too soon.

O Jesus You are our life, You are our salvation,
You are our glory, to You be praise forever and ever

I pray that You are glorified through my poetry pages
You are my everything The longing of my soul There is NO
other that can touch me like You do
You are my Shield My Deliverer, my Refuge, my Fortress.
You are my Strong Tower for me to run into You are my
Great Physician, My Divine Healer You heal me of spiritual
sickness as well as physical Many times You have restored
my Soul! I give You all the Honor and Glory
Without You I am nothing
I love You Jesus
Your Love to me has been so sweet
Be exalted in my life
Be exalted in my heart
May my praises be a sweet aroma to You
Thank You
I can never express all that You do and all
that You are to me
Praise Your Name forever and ever
