My Name is Marc and I am a Scottish Poet, working in Glasgow, Scotland. As a Celtic poet, I am naturally influenced by the beautiful landscapes of my "celtic" homeland, but am also aware of and respond to the world in which I am living. Born in Sheerness, Kent, England, my family relocated to Scotland when I was two years old.
I am not a Christian, but having been brought up as one, I use some symbology, I also read mythology, so my work is frequently influenced by pan-religious philosophies.
I am a humanist who is very influenced by the way of life known as Zen or 'dharma' sometimes known (wrongly) as Buddhism.
