My name is Sam Spadea. I live in Portland, Oregon, where, since the middle of 2004, I have experienced one of the most poignant loves I can imagine. My poetry is about the relationship I had and have with Nicole Ondine Doherty, both before and after her accidental death June 1, 2005. It is written in tribute to Ondine, to her family and to all those people who have lost their life's love. It reflects the wonderful gifts Ondine gave to me and continues to give every single day.
