Always My Valentine
It was a decade ago since i knew her
The time of my life where we were young
We had nothing really to fear
And didn't think about our future
Abusing substances
Always looking for more
We never thought about the consequences
Or what we were doing it for
Mentalities changed
And pulled us away for each other
Things became deranged
And life became a bother
Now in light of things
A decade has passed
With memories the past brings
And how time flys by so fast
We were young and ignorant
But we both turned out alright
I wish things were different
but life is always a fight
I'm genuinely proud of you
Even though you aren't mine
I hope you remember what we came through
And that you'll always be my valentine
