I have been away from Poetry Poem for several months, and I have only returned now because I have heard of the sad passing of Sandra Hoynacki. Sandy was one of the most beautiful souls I ever came across, and she was a very talented poet and writer of prose. When I first joined PP in 2009 Sandy was one of the first members to welcome me and she read and commented on my poetry regularly. We became firm friends, and we conversed via email. I am the proud owner of her three books: "Whispers from the Ledge", "Purple Latches" and "On Call". She will be greatly missed by her army of friends, but her wonderful poetry will live on. My heart goes out to her family. I still can't believe she is really gone! So sad! ~ Robert Haigh.
