Thank you for visiting my site. This site is like a form of therapy for me and how I deal with past and present issues in life. For example, in many cases, I have had to put my feelings into a poem and publish it on 'Poetry Poem'. Honestly, this method works for me. Additionally, I have written about being a single parent and issues with relationships on this site. Although I must admit that the most precious relationships in my life has been the bond with my two beautiful children. During this journey, I recently lost my 22 year old son. And you will find three (3) poems written by him, Lacey Williams, Jr. on this site. Most importantly, he wrote these poems only weeks before his death. Further, my daughter wrote a song for her brother after his death and you will have an opportunity to read it. We've all experienced ups & downs, highs & lows. I hope my poems help with the process. Dark Spain’s love of writing began as a child who was raised in Belize City, Belize in Central America. She has always been an intriguing, loving, intelligent, family-oriented, welcoming individual who possesses an unsuspecting inner strength. Poetry is her means of expression that would otherwise remain unsaid. Her poetry will weave you through a symmetrical pattern, which reveals a taunting image of complexities that rival its balance.
