 News:

G'day folks, For those of you who live around Maryborough in Queensland Come and join the fun at the Country music Club on February 1st 2003 at 7pm I'll be there And it would be good to talk to you guys. Just ask around for Vic Sturgeon (thats me) we can talk about poetry or CM music. see you there. Hi again Folks, Well it has been several months since i was on the net due to shifting house to one of South Australia's most historic Towns (Iron Knob) This was the first place that Iron Ore was mined in Australia and was mined by BHP for 99 Years. It is now a virtual ghost town now Situated 50 Kilometres from Whyalla and the Spencer Gulf. When I look out from the front yard to the East I am looking at Desert country and yet Only 50 Kilometres from the sea. It is just great and also very quiet. There are no shops only a garage and hotel so our shopping is done in Whyalla. I would like to thank all those who read my poetry and apologize to other writers for not reading their poetry of late but i don't often get to my site due to so many commitments and not having a PC for a very long time. Regards Ringer

Hello everyone, Thanks for visiting my poetry site. I live in Australia and most of my poetry are about real people and events that really happened or about places I've been to.My favorite poet is "Banjo Paterson" My favourite poem of his is: "The Man from Snowy River" I worked for many years out in the West Australian outback as a Cowboy (Ringer) as we are known as here in Australia. And have written about the people and places from outback. I also write Country Music (Australian that is) and have one long play album out and one single CD. If you have enjoyed reading my poetry please come back often. regards, Ringer.
