Good medicine for the soul
Doesn't come in the form
of a bottle or a pill
Because that is only a temporary cure
And it just makes you fall deeper
into the well
leaving you standing idol and still
Because it leaves you feeling
inadequate and insecure
Good medicine for the soul
is to have the ability
to live each day
like there will be no tomorrow
Not worrying about
what you cannot do
but what you can do
while you are still here
Like sharing joy and laughter
with everyone you know
if you are given that opportunity
And also doing things that you
have never done before
that you have always wanted to do
Even if it is with people
that you may not know
Because it is far better
to embrace each day
completely
as if there was no tomorrow
then doing nothing at all
