Never Discouraged
Our bodies are made of clay,
And molded in a certain way;
For God having His own pleasure,
Being considered His treasure.
We have the treasure of Good News,
And given our right to choose;
Exactly which path that we lead,
A choice for to fail or succeed.
Every way we walk through life,
We will find of being in strife;
That seems to have movable walls,
Pushing us until each one falls.
Frustrated but we do not quit,
Faith will give us wisdom and wit;
For making it through all the way,
Resisting temptation to stray.
We are bemocked and criticized,
On beliefs of the Crucified;
Feeling abandoned and alone,
But not with Jesus on His throne.
We do not look for other things,
That some personal pleasure brings;
Only for what that will still be,
And known but unable to see.
