I really wish that there
was a cure for cancer
That was truly promising
So that so many people
wouldn't
have to suffer anymore
But until that day comes
when someone
can finally find a cure
It would be nice if there
were alternative treatments
So that people wouldn't
have to hurt anymore
from the drastic effects of
radiation and chemotherapy
that they have had to go through
Because I have already
had two friends
who have died from cancer
Because they didn't have enough
strength
to fight there battle anymore
And there are two other friends
of mine who are the lucky ones
Because they are
both
cancer survivors
And unfortunately there
are other people that I know
who still have cancer
And they are fighting for there lives
every single day so that they can stay alive
Hopefully the cure is right around
the next corner
So that we can finally say goodbye
to this deadly disease called cancer
