Christ Is the Superior Priest
If there was ever perfection,
Of who had a resurrection;
And as the superior priest,
Will prepare the ultimate feast.
It is a priest that I proclaim,
That puts Melchizedek to shame;
As well as Aaron the Levite,
Who did not have any insight.
And what we say is yet so true,
All the more reason I tell you;
The arising of a Holy One,
That is also known as the Son.
He had been made not from the Law,
That is carnal or from a flaw;
But from power of endless life,
That overcomes toils and strife.
For I swear by taking an oath,
Staking of my spiritual growth;
And not going out on a limb,
By being a witness for Him.
For Christ is a better compact,
That is established on the fact;
He abides forever unchanged,
Because the Father had arranged.
