Heartbreak of any kind

Heartbreak of any kind
is something
that seems to take a life time
Before we can actually
start recovering
Because there are so many things
that we have
to sort out in our own minds
But once we are finally able to
let go of all the pain by allowing
ourselves to release everything
instead of holding everything in
This is when everything
starts to change
Because it finally gives us
a chance to start healing
So that we can be ourselves again
Physically and emotionally
And hopefully as time goes on
We can leave our past behind
And have an opportunity
to meet someone
So that new doors can be opened
Because everyone deserves to have
someone
That can truly love them just as much
as they can be loved in return
Because none of us were ever
meant
to spend our lives being alone
