Because of the loneliness
That I have carried
Deep inside this
heart of mine
There are nights
When I cannot sleep
Because of all the hurt
That I have endured
And you would think
that after two years
of being apart
That I could have
recovered
And be completely cured
From all of this pain
So that I could move on
And start dating again
But you see I just
haven't finished healing
So it would be foolish for me
to consider
dating anyone at this time
Because I am still having
difficulty recovering
From these deep
seeded emotions
That I have carried deep
inside this heart of mine
