Be Still
It is sometimes good to be still
Take time to reflect
Ease your mind if you will
As you unveil and detect
All the love and beauty abound
There is an inner peace you feel
Be still, don't make a sound
Your thoughts to you reveal
Needless items you hold and clutter
Meditate gently closing your eyes
Imagine delicate butterflies as they flutter
Oh wondrous blue spacious skies
Consider the tiny bird's flapping wings
Finally leaving the nest
Be still your heart silently sings
You are blessed, be at rest
Be still, enjoy the simple pleasures of life
Open your eyes
Contemplate to eliminate useless strife
Be still and you too shall rise
