An angel in disguise
You are so much more
The tears of my past could fill a river bed
Some day God will fill a cup full of your tears
Ten seconds was all that I had to make a split decision.

I thank the good Lord
for giving me
some time on my own
Because he has taught me
that it's okay to be alone
But for the longest time
I thought that
I needed to be with someone
And now that I have been
on my own
going on two years strong
without being with anyone
I have learned how to change
the way that I look at things
Because the good Lord
has allowed me
To rediscover myself again
