Money Hungry
A godly life brings wealth,
And ensures your good health;
Contentment with great gain,
And able to retain.
When born we did not bring,
To this world not a thing;
And at the time to leave,
Nothing that we will cleave.
If we have clothes and food,
No reason for to brood;
For that is all we need,
No desire for greed.
But temptation takes place,
Then you fall from His grace;
As you allow fires,
Ignite from desires.
Destruction and downfall,
Will soon cause you to crawl;
Being entrapped by sin,
From corruption within.
Money has been the root,
Of a forbidden fruit;
When you do not abide,
And God does not provide.
