The soft sounds of a gentle
peaceful rain
woke me up early this morning
And I couldn't believe
how it made me feel
Because I honestly
thought
that I was dreaming
Because I usually
feel sad
when it is raining
But that didn't
happen
at all this morning
Because when I woke up
I started feeling
the healing power of the rain
And after listening to it
and watching it for awhile
It has done something
to me
that is absolutely amazing
Because now I can listen
to the rain
falling down all day long
without it being depressing
Because I have found it to
be truly
rewarding and comforting
I just wish that I could
always feel
this way when it is raining
Because it has left me
with a peaceful easy feeling
