Some things have been missing
In this life of mine
And I keep hoping and praying
things will start changing soon
So that I can start feeling
Like a human being again
Instead of feeling like I have been
Because I've been struggling
And I've really been hurting
In more ways then I can ever explain
But somehow I have to remain focused
Because I need to get beyond
All these distractions that have been
Causing me so much sorrow and pain
So that I can finally turn my life back around
