I could never make
you love me




As much as I
loved
you in return



But for the longest time



I was convinced that you
did love me
even after you were gone



And you actually
had me believing



That you would return



And that's why I kept waiting



Instead of just moving on




And finding someone
else to be around



Because I thought you
were the chosen one



I guess I was the
one who was wrong



And that's why I'm
still hurting like I am

 

Because its been two years
now since you've been gone



I just hope and pray that the good Lord
can fix this broken heart of mine real soon



Because I really don't want to
spend the rest of my life being alone
