The hardest thing I've ever done
Was moving forward after all this time
Because I'm just not the kind of man
That can turn my love off and on
Because I knew if I kept
trying
to hold on to someone
That didn't seem to have the same
kind of feelings that I had for them
If I opened my door up one more time
I would end up being the one
That would be hurting all over again
Because it would be like
injecting
poison back into my veins
And I just couldn't allow that to happen
Because I have been hurt way to many times
The hardest thing I've ever done
