that has gone by

What did I ever do to
make you walk away
Without ever saying goodbye
and never coming back to me
Like you had
promised me

we had something
That would truly
last forever and a day

And I keep wondering
What really happened
To you and me
And the way that
We used to be
( It's been two years now and I am almost completely healed
