Living in this lonely game

Living in this
lonely game
And wondering
If I will have to wait
much
longer in this line
That seems to
have no end
Before I can actually
find one good person
That doesn't live
so far away
And in a completely
different town
Because I really
need someone
That's closer to home
That can be close
enough
to come around
every now and then
That can turn
into
a great friend
That would be
willing to stop by
On occasion
To enjoy some
good company
And some great
conversations
That would also
enjoy
giving me a hug
When ever I
needed one
So that I can give
them
a hug in return
When ever they
may want one
Because I need
to feel loved
Just like the next person
Because none of us
were
ever meant to be alone
