I've been helping a family with four young children
That had no where else to go
Because they had gotten evicted from there own home
But what I didn't know is that they had two dogs
and two puppies and a cat
and eight small turtles that also needed a loving home
And I didn't hesitate for a moment
And I let them all move in one by one
Because they all needed shelter
And I knew in my mind at the time
That it was the right thing to do
Because every now and then there is always someone out there
That could really use a helping hand from someone who understands
Proverb 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will repay him for his deed
22"9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor
Deuteronomy For there will never cease to be poor in the land.
Therefore I command you,
You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.
