 Falcon's Pleasure

Kept in gentle chains of love
Held securely precious dove…

Sings the falcon's awful wrath,
Fierce dark flowers on the path.

Cries with glad and happy notes,
Woven in among the rotes.

Bright swift arrow falcon falls…
Downward spiral darkness calls.

Blazing eyes behold the flock…
Bursts among them frightened shock.

Makes her mark…one single bird
Call of triumph can be heard.

Claws of steel select their prize
Clutching fast the falcon flies.

Spirals upward…to its keep
Favored pastime dark and deep.
