For the longest time I felt so lost and alone Music By Yanni
For the longest time I felt so lost and alone

Written By D . A . M .

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

For the longest time I felt so lost and alone

And in the back of my mind

I tried to hold on

Because a part of me kept believing
that
things would start changing very soon

But there were several mornings and
afternoons
and evenings when I felt so lonesome

And as all the years kept going by

I honestly didn't think that I
could hold on for another day

More or less to be able
to make it on my own

And then one day
something
happened to me

And that's when I realized that
I would
be just fine for the time being

Because I knew in my heart

That the good Lord had bigger
and better plans in store for me

For the longest time I felt so lost and alone

And in the back of my mind

I tried to hold on

Because a part of me kept believing
that
things would start changing very soon
