when i ran track
when i ran track:
i was the one way in the back:
i always tried my best:
but i never beat the rest:
i wasnt that fast in the race:
many times i finished last place:
but i kept running all the same:
i was proud jungers was my name:
i never quit you know:
even i was kinda slow:
i dreamed of winning the race:
but could never keep up the pace:
i still kept up the fight:
to win the time was not yet right:
so now with years gone by:
i have a chance to again try:
through johhny my son:
i have a chance again to run:
johnny can run so fast:
everyone else he will pass:
im so proud of my son:
all the races he has won:
ill stand by his side:
and watch him run with pride:
