when i keep words to myself and write them as a poem:
i feel they are mine and forever them i own:
but when i say to others words out loud:
they get misunderstood and float away in a cloud:
words are nothing alone:
but when put together in a poem--there true meaning is shown:
it's easy to get misunderdtood in words said:
so many times the true meanings by others are misread:
in daily conversations when people speak:
words put others down and make them feel weak:
words of a poem can be read over and over again:
so the true meaning always comes across then:
words are stronger than you think:
have you ever heard words can make a ship sink:
the words from an argument can hurt so deep:
it can bring you to your knees to weep:
words you speak always choose:
be careful what words you use:
you can tell about how a person is--by what they speak of others:
i remember hearing that from my mother:
a word is as good as it is bad:
a word can bring you happy or sad:
with words try to be discreet:
with words make others feel elite:
