pause to pray
let me pause to pray;
and say thank you lord for guiding my way:
let me count my blessings now:
and thank you lord for teaching me how;
let me cherish this day:
and thank you lord in every way:
life can turn upside down:
sometimes its hard to hide a frown:
but if you just pause and pray:
god will help you on your way;
no matter how low you feel:
life turns like a big wheel:
good days will come bad times dont last:
the hard times will come to pass:
the sun will always shine;
the times your crying dont ever give up--keep on trying;
