while i am here yet another day:
i feel so helpless and blue:
while i am here missing all of you:
all the letters cards and calls home:
i still feel so home sick and all alone:
nothing can heal this pain inside:
not until i am home holding my loving bride:
home is all that is on my mind night and day:
and with my heart and soul for you all i pray:
time keeps ticking away:
and god knows we will all be home together so soon one day:
so here we go step by step trying to make it through this day:
all we can do is our best and for each other we pray:
today it is just another day:
and we have to do our best anyway:
this time it will all come to pass:
and we will be home forever at last:
