THE ROWBOAT
My two friends and I
decided it was time to try
to go for a rowboat ride.
One friend in front with an oar,
Other friend in back with another ore,
me in the middle just relaxing with no oar.
At the dock, we are off to play by all the fish
sliding gently in the water with a big swish
So far it seems to be all that we had wished.
In the middle of the water we find it not grand
to be so far away from dry land. The boat will
only go round and round in one big round circle.
After many tries and people shouting to us
we finally get the boat back to where it all began.
Never did we go for a row in a rowboat, ever again.
