Heavnly Father up above
The one that's always showing me so much love
I thank you for all that you have done
Because of you my new life has just begun
I have never met anybody who can do what you did
Die willingly on the cross for every adult and kid
I know that there are times where I can say life is so unfair
But you rush down by my side to let me know that you care
There are so many things I know I've done wrong
But you still continue to bless me with blessings ever so strong
When times are bad you make them good
When there's something I don't understand you make it understood
Times when I feel like I just can't make it through this life
Your spirit tells me that everythings going to be alright
Lord I just want you to know that I really try
To do everything that your will needs supplied
But I can't do it on my own
I know at times I'll mope and groan
But Lord I just need you to be with me
Lock me up in your arms and throw away the key
Life is so hard being without a good earthly father
But Lord since you know what you are doing I'm not even going to bother
Lord I know that you are my Savior
That's how I know you are listening to my prayer!
