Being Still
God is your refuge and your strength,
Persevering at any length;
Ever present at a time of woe,
Defending you against each foe.
That is why we should never fear,
Knowing that our God is near;
Even when mountains start to shake,
Our Lord God will not forsake.
Or the deep water of the sea,
Making surging waves dance for glee;
The Lord God is willing to share,
A safe place for to solace there.
A river whose streams will bring joy,
And will be able to deploy;
A Holy Place that is most high,
No longer will anyone cry.
God is there and can never fall,
A place that remains safe for all;
Kingdoms will then lay in ruins,
Those that are left stacked in coffins.
Be still and know who is your God,
That you do not follow a fraud;
Jehovah of Host remains here,
Our refuge and naught to fear.
