Twenty years ago I had to say goodbye

Music Composed By Yanni

Written By D . A . M .

September 8, 2010

Twenty years ago I had to say goodbye

Because you had earned your wings
that
day so that you could soar and fly

And I cried just like a little baby
when
the good Lord took you away

And I still cry every
now
and then to this day

But when ever I see a beautiful
butterfly flying by
or a colorful rainbow in the sky

That's when I get this feeling that your spirit
is as close as it can possibly be
just to remind me that you are not that far away
