Remaining Faithful
Always think about Jesus Christ,
And just how He was sacrificed;
Because of hanging on the cross,
His life had suffered for a loss.
He was brought back revived to live,
So God was able to forgive;
And eternal life can be yours,
To go to the heavenly shores.
This is the Gospel the Good News,
Telling others Christ paid their dues;
It is not imprisoned in jail,
And no need to be posting bail.
We have to endure for the sake,
Of the day that we will awake;
And shout it out that we proclaim,
The Book of Life has our name.
Through Christ we receive salvation,
That He did by acclamation;
With glory that lasts forever,
That will not burn nor will sever.
Then we can rule if we endure,
With Jesus on that distant shore;
Even if we are unfaithful,
He will remain true and loyal.
