The imperfect seashell I have found
My missing piece that I left behind
Echoes of waves, water, wailing sound
washed us all day and washed us all night
brought us back where spell was bound
The mortal body left us behind
also left us weathered, chipped, and dried
Waves ground us into finest grains
sending us back to the shores again
as the whitest sand......between my toes
