My faith may be rough around the edges

My faith may be
rough
around the edges
But like many I can say
that I am a work in progress
Just like each and every
one
of us are in this journey
Yet we will make mistakes
and we will have regrets
And we will have to
deal
with the consequences
And be responsible for
our own actions just like
Peter was if you will take
the time to read his story
And I can tell you right now
that life isn't
always going to be that easy
Because we will be challenged
and tested each and every day
And there will be times when we
will have to deal with uncertainty
But with a little faith and conviction
and determination each and everyone
of us can
become an absolute work in progress
just like Peter was in his own journey
(Feed My Sheep)
(One of the most prominent disciples, the Apostle Peter was one who knew both great personal failure and the greatness of God's mercy. For the Lord Jesus not only restored Peter after Peter denied Him, He also commissioned Peter to be one of the first leaders of the church. In this sermon from John 21:15–25, Dr. R.C. Sproul preaches on the restoration of Peter. With insight and careful biblical application, Dr. Sproul demonstrates the proper context of worship, the importance of teaching God's people and explains that those of us who have been forgiven much will also be those who love much.)
