Many years ago today my
dear mother gave birth to me

And then eight months later the state
had
gotten involved and they took me away

And I never knew the reason why

But as the years went by I always wondered
if
my dear mother ever really thought about me

And then one day out of the blue I got onto
the information
highway which is called the internet today

And a dear friend of mine
helped me along the way

So that I could find out
my true original identity

And I thought that I was very
fortunate and extremely lucky

Because I finally had the opportunity
to reconnect with a couple of siblings
of mine that came from my own family

And this is when they had told me
that my parents really did love me

But that they had already passed away

And to be honest with
you
it truly devastated me

Because I never had the opportunity
to meet
the family that had given birth to me

And I am just sorry that I never had
the chance
to grow up with my natural family

Because after meeting my siblings
I found out that
I had three brothers and three sisters

But three brothers are already gone
and there is
one sister that didn't want to meet me

But at least I lived long enough in
this
world to finally tell you my story

And I just wish that things could
have turned out in a different way

But some times that's the way
that things were meant to be

But for better or for worse that's my story
