Tyrannopuss Regina

Sphinx like
She crouches there
Giving me that long stare
That makes me just wish
I'd not forgotten to fill her dish
A little paw pokes my nose
Just before I slip into a doze
And with a slightly muzzy head
I am up and out of bed
Ready to do all it takes
To rectify my mistakes
The contented purrs later that night
Seem to make everything alright
As she crouches there
Sphinx like
