I keep fighting with these empty feelings
That I have been having every now and then
And at times they can be so consuming
Especially late at night when I am all alone
When I find myself wishing that I
had someone next to me
in my arms that I could be holding
When I am awake or when
I am sleeping and dreaming
Instead of dealing with the emptiness
that I have been feeling
because it can be so overwhelming
And I keep wondering how
much longer
will I have to keep waiting
So that I wont have to keep hurting
from feeling so lonesome and alone
I keep fighting with these empty feelings
That I have been having every now and then
And at times they can be so consuming
Especially late at night when I am all alone
